All packed and on the road heading South, our first camp just outside Kakadu NP - Harriett Creek. Not a whole lot between stops from here on until the West McDonnel Ranges. An average of 250k's a day and that's a big day, by the time you stop, look at stuff, eat and water the vegetation_____ !

Stanley Chasm - photo's don't do the scenery justice, you really have to see it in it's grandeur.
Don't put up a sign - "Not Suitable for Caravan's" - it's then the macho challenge to check it out, and we did until the tree's encrouched on the track and a chain saw was required.
No problem with this dry creek bed. Check out the suspension on the Bushtracker - working as designed.

It's clear to see how this landscape became, Namatjira Country - Albert Namatjira, famous Aborginal painter was able to captured the timeless grandeur in his vibrant water colours.
The head of the Finke River, yep it's actually got water in it.
Range's rise out of the Spinifex grasslands.
On the Mereenie Loop Road - 204k's of corrugations, it's the short cut thru to Watarrka National Park or Kings Canyon. This road / track put in by Santos to their gas fields.
The camel's and kangaroo's are the only real survivors out here ___
